The Whidbey Island Bicycle Club (WIBC) was formed in March, 2010 to support and promote cycling on Whidbey Island. Our members enjoy road and trail riding, touring, racing, commuting and leisurely rides with the family. Our goals include bringing cyclists together, advocating for safe cycling routes, developing community cycling events, mountain bike trail stewardship, and supporting existing community activities that involve cycling.
WIBC holds meetings on the first Wednesday of each month (see calendar). Membership is $15.00 per person and $20.00 per family.
Regardless of your cycling experience, you will find that WIBC is a great place to meet other cyclists and to increase your connection with the sport of cycling. We try to host several rides each month around Whidbey Island; from social rides for beginners, to training rides for experienced cyclists. We welcome all riders, and strongly encourage new ride leaders.
